Fast growing shrub with whitish flowers in late spring/early summer. Clusters of purple/black berries mature in August. Makes excellent wine and jam. This species flowers in June to July depending on the part of the country in which it is found. Fruits ripen in August to September and are eaten by many species of birds and mammals. This is the native American Elderberry.

Sold in bundles of 10 or 25 plants. 24-48" tall.

Grows to 5-15' tall, 5-15' wide.
