Rated superior for fresh eating. Fruit is mottled red and flesh is crisp. Excellent eating, cooking, and keeping qualities. Annual bearer. Keeps up to 5 months in storage. Hardy for northern climates. Honeycrisp has no problems with fire blight, and is resistant to scab.
