It is perfect for fresh-eating or for a sweet cider apple. The tree is vigorous, easy to grow, and naturally takes a good shape. Resistant to fireblight and powdery mildew, highly resistant to scab and cedar apple rust. Heavy fruit sets require thinning. Liberty is the backbone of any home orchard.
